Wolverine Claws

Spook up your kid's snack time with this healthy Halloween treat!

Wolverine Claws Recipe

Chill time: 60 Minutes
Servings: 6-8 claws
Gluten Free
Vegan

Ingredients

  • 2 packets Brown Sugar Maple Oatmeal
  • 1/4 cup ground flax seeds
  • 3/4 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup + 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup nut butter of your choice
  • 2 tbsp pumpkin seeds (pepitas)
  • 2 tbsp coconut chips

Instructions

  1. In a stand mixer or bowl, combine oatmeal, flax seeds, almond flour, cocoa powder and salt. In a small bowl, combine the maple syrup and nut butter. Pour maple syrup mixture over the oatmeal mixture and mix until combined. Add pumpkin seeds and mix again.
  2. Form into wolverine claw shape and add the coconut chips to make 'claws'.  Place them on a wax paper-lined cookie sheet and refrigerate for an hour. At this point you can eat them, or refrigerate for up to 3 days.
