Matcha Rice Crispy Treats Recipe

Ingredients
- ½ cup unsalted butter 1 stick
- 110oz bag mini marshmallows
- Pinch of salt
- 1tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tsp high quality matcha
- 6 cups Nature’s Path Crispy Rice Cereal
Instructions
- Line a 9x9 inch baking dish with parchment paper for easy removal later.
- In a large pot or saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat, swirling occasionally. Watch closely as it cooks, allowing it to turn golden brown and develop a nutty aroma.
- Once butter is browned, add the marshmallows and stir constantly until they are melted and smooth.
- Sift the matcha powder into the melted marshmallows, stirring constantly until evenly incorporated. You can adjust the amount of matcha to your desired taste.
- Remove the pot from heat and carefully add the crispy rice cereal. Gently fold everything together until the cereal is coated in the matcha marshmallow mixture.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and press down evenly with a lightly greased spatula or your fingers.
- Let the treats cool before slicing. Then, cut them into squares and enjoy
