Enjoy the comforting flavors of golden milk during the warmest summer days with a golden smoothie bowl! This simple, spiced smoothie bowl is made with a creamy blend of vanilla almond milk, frozen ripe bananas, sweet Medjool dates, turmeric, ginger, and cinnamon. Add a sprinkle of Flax Plus Pumpkin Raisin Crunch and toasted coconut for a delicious breakfast.


  • 1 cup vanilla almond milk
  • 2 frozen, ripe bananas
  • 3 Medjool dates, pitted
  • 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • Flax Plus Pumpkin Raisin Crunch Cereal and dried coconut, for topping


  1. Begin by preparing the toppings for your smoothie bowl. I used a simple combo of Flax Plus Pumpkin Raisin Crunch and dried toasted coconut on top of this golden smoothie bowl.
  2. In a high speed blender, combine almond milk, frozen bananas, dates, turmeric, and ginger. Blend on high until smooth. If necessary, use a tamper or pause and redistribute the smoothie to ensure even blending. Add dried coconut and set blender to low speed. Blend until just mixed.
  3. Scoop or pour the smoothie into a bowl and add toppings. Enjoy immediately.
