No-Bake Cereal Puff Bars Recipe

Prep time: 10 Minutes
Cook time: 30 Minutes
Servings: 20 bars
Gluten Free
Vegan

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Envirokidz Leapin' Lemurs Cereal
  • ¼ cup Maple Syrup
  • 2 Tbsp Peanut Butter – natural and runny
  • 2 Tbsp Dairy-Free Chocolate Chips

Tip:

  • Substitute the peanut butter for seed butter if there is a nut-allergy
  • Substitute the maple syrup for honey/vegan honey
  • Make sure the hot maple syrup-peanut butter mixture is cooled down – nobody enjoys soft cereal bars!
  • Store at room temperature in an airtight container

Instructions

  1. In a pot on low heat or in a microwave, heat up the maple syrup and peanut butter until it reaches a runny consistency
  2. While the mixture is cooling down, combine the Envirokidz Leapin Lemurs cereal and chocolate chips in a mixing bowl
  3. Pour the maple syrup-peanut butter mixture into the cereal. Stir gently to combine until the cereal is well coated
  4. Roll into your desired shape and be creative! The possibilities are endless!
  5. If you want to make Bars; line a baking pan with 2 sheets of parchment – crossed – so they cover up all sides of the pan. Press down gently with the spatula or you can place another sheet of parchment paper on top and press down firmly to compress everything. Slice into Bars.
