Gluten Free

Ingredients

  • 2 slices gluten-free bread
  • 4 tsp almond butter
  • 1/4 cup blueberries
  • 1/4 cup EnviroKidz Gorilla Munch Cereal (approx).
  • 1 apple, peeled, cored and sliced into rounds
  • 1 baby carrot

Instructions

  1. Using a 3-inch biscuit cutter, cut a round out of each slice of bread. Spread each round with almond butter. Reserve excess bread for another use.
  2. Arrange alternating rows of cereal and blueberries across the round. With a 2-inch cookie cutter, cut circles from apple slices for wings.
  3. Using the biscuit cutter, cut each circle into half moons so the wings will fit perfectly next to the bread.
  4. Cut another apple slice into a small circle to make the bee’s head. Cut one blueberry in half for eyes, place on bee’s head. Cut carrot, lengthwise, into 1/8–inch strips to make antennas, place at top of head. Dip two corn puffs in almond butter and stick to top of carrots. Serve with any unused apple.
