Too dry

"I wanted to love these as much as I love the creals but they were just ok in my opinion. A little too dry."

Not Very Fruity - Mostly Crust

"Not very fruity. Thick crusts with a smear of cinnamon flavored gel inside. Although the box says "made with real fruit," and they are called "Apple Pie Toaster Pastries," there is no hint of apple in these."

A superior alternative to Pop Tarts

"Very tasty and wholesome. Could use a bit more filling."

Good Solid Apple Pastry Product Needing a Minor Tweak

"Ok, I loved apple poptarts as a kid. I have been disappointed ever since that they got ride of them. I searched for a replacement and found these. They are great when they are first manufactured because I have scarfed down a ton. Last year I missed a couple of boxes in the pantry. They are pretty old. I opened the packaging to see if they were edible. What I found was the pastry and frosting are still good, but the filling has dehydrated and looks like a thin line in the pastry. Normally it looked as thick as a penny to a penny and a half. The filling is delicious to me. I eat these with coffee or hot tea so they may be dry, scone like, but I find them satisfying. I would probably put some sort of ingredient with the apples that could hold the moisture a little longer. I give them a 5 because I think they taste very good. They could be great with moisture enhancement for product that sits on the shelf longer."

Yummy

"Would definitely buy again"

Bland and flavorless

"It's basically just an apple flavored graham cracker. Has almost zero filling and frosting. If dry, crumbly whole grain sadness is what you are seeking then these are perfect for you. If you're looking for a decent, healthy snack look elsewhere, because these will disappoint. Way too expensive for what you get out of these. How can something be so tasteless and still have 42g of sugar in it?"

Apple pop tart

"These are good but extremely dry. They are ok"

Awful flavor and texture!

"I wanted to try a healthier snack, and I love pop tarts…well this is no match made in heaven…they have the texture of dry crumbly cake. Not moist at all, and I could barely notice any flavor of apple or cinnamon. I've tried to stomach the whole pack so I didn't waste my money, but I've got to ring the bell, I just can't eat the last two. If you want a healthy treat, eat real pop tarts and choose something else, this will NOT cure your longing for pop tarts ??"

Recipe needs tweaking

"Not enough filling, flavor was not like apple pie"

Amazing- my new favorite!

"As someone who is allergic to artificial dyes, I have been looking for toaster pastries that are safe for me to eat for years- and finally discovered these, and I'm so glad! Even if I was able to eat the Pop-Tarts brand, I would still choose these! They're heartier, more flavorful, and don't taste like chemicals. While they're not significantly healthier than a Pop-Tart nutrition-wise, the peace of mind I get from knowing I'm not consuming any artificial flavors or colors makes these a huge winner in my book. Have tried and loved several flavors, but this one is my favorite."
