Vegan Brownie Hazelnut Butter
A spoonful of this rich chocolatey vegan hazelnut butter is sure to upgrade any bowl of oatmeal, slice of toast, smoothie, or sliced-up apple.
Vegan Brownie Hazelnut Butter Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups raw hazelnuts
- 3 - 4 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 1/2 - 2 tbsp cocoa
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 tbsp non-dairy milk
- A few drops of pure vanilla (optional)
- Pinch of sea salt
Instructions
- Add raw hazelnuts to a food processor or high-speed blender and process or blend on high. Pause and scrape down the sides to redistribute the mixture as needed. Process until the hazelnut butter is nearly smooth.
- Add the maple syrup, cocoa, coconut oil, non-dairy milk, vanilla (if using), and salt. Process/blend until the nut butter is smooth and fully mixed. Taste and adjust the flavor and sweetness with cocoa and/or maple syrup (optional).
- Store in refrigerator.
