Vegan Rice Crispy Squares
Rice Crispy Squares may just be everybody’s favourite snack! This vegan version tastes identical to the classic rice crispy snack you used to enjoy as a kid. Gooey, crunchy, and wonderfully sweet, this plant-based treat will have you coming back for seconds!
Vegan Rice Crispy Squares Recipe

Ingredients
- 450g Nature’s Path Rice Puffs
- 300g vegan marshmallows
- 120g vegan butter
- 20g maple syrup
- 15g vanilla extract
Instructions
- Grease a 9x9 baking tray and set aside
- In a soup pot, over medium heat, melt the butter
- Add in marshmallows and gently stir until they are completely melted. This takes about 5-7 minutes and it is important to consistently stir so it doesn’t burn.
- Once you have a melted mixture, add in vanilla and maple syrup.
- One cup at a time add puffed rice and stir until evenly coated.
- Pour into greased pan and use a spatula or your hands to press the mixture firmly into the mold.
- Allow to cool, cut into squares & enjoy. Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
