Vegan Queso
We’re getting all up in your snack food with this spicy vegan Queso anyone can enjoy. Serve alongside Que Pasa Blue Corn Tortilla Chips as a satisfying snack or mealtime appetizer to whet the appetite before the main course.
Vegan Queso Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups cashews
- 1 jalapeño, deseeded
- 2 cloves garlic
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper
- ½ tsp chili pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
- ½-1 cup water
- 1 bag Que Pasa Blue Corn Tortilla Chips
Instructions
- In a bowl, soak the cashews in boiling water for 10-20 minutes until soft.
- Add the soaked cashews, jalapeno, garlic, water, cayenne pepper, chili pepper, salt, nutritional yeast, and water to a food processor. Blend until smooth (approximately 10-15 minutes).
- Serve with Que Pasa Blue Corn Tortilla Chips.
- *Note: can be reheated in a microwave for 2-3 minutes.
