Easy Salsa Verde

This salsa verde is fresh and bright, and pairs well with just about anything that goes with regular red tomato-based salsa. This recipe uses green tomatoes, which can be found at the market around fall.

Easy Salsa Verde Recipe

Prep time: 10 Minutes
Servings: 1.5 cups

Ingredients

  • 3 cups chopped green tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup minced white onion
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped cilantro
  • 2 tbsp minced jalapeno
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/4 tsp dried oregano
  • Que Pasa Yellow Tortilla Chips, for serving

Instructions

  1. Pulse all ingredients in a blender or food processor until desired consistency is achieved. If your tomatoes are extra juicy, you may need to drain excess liquid through a fine mesh strainer.
  2. Serve immediately or store in the fridge until ready to use.
