Organic matters because
Toxic pesticides and herbicides don't belong in our food system
Nature’s Path is proud to sponsor Into the Weeds, a documentary that follows several lawsuits against one of the world's largest producers of herbicides in which plaintiffs claimed that glyphosate-based weed killer, Roundup, was the cause of their cancer- non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma to be exact. In doing so, we hope to raise awareness of the effects of these types of pesticides and herbicides amongst consumers while exploring why organic is an important solution to help protect yourself, your communities, and your environment.
Glyphosate is one of the most common pesticides used for food production around the world and has caused widespread damage to both people and the environment.
Nature’s Path is giving away FREE tickets to attend the exclusive 1-day screening of Into the Weeds on October 3, 2023. Enter your details below to sign up for our email newsletter and receive two free tickets for a showing at your local theatre.
Take Action Now
At Nature’s Path, we believe everyone has the fundamental right to choose what is on our plates and in our bodies – including the right to make informed health decisions. With just a few simple actions, you can reduce your exposure to toxic agricultural chemicals while promoting soil health, increasing biodiversity and stewarding our limited natural resources for the good of future generations. Here’s how you can get involved.
When shopping for groceries, look for the Certified Organic seal. Research shows, by eating organic, you can drastically reduce the number of toxic herbicides and pesticides in your body. Other ways to choose organic include joining an organic community garden, starting a pollinator garden bed at home or supporting local organic farmers markets.
